Why Split the Party?
With an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.
This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.
What Defines the Soldiers Table
Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.
At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.
Motivations for Departure

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, attacking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
The traitor then paid off his liabilities and fled to a secure base in the northern region, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:
- Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
- The adventurer knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous place.
- The strong character and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to kill the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
- Yet, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could help the party reach places they usually can’t.
- Additionally, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.
Fugitives
